No synth strings over this part.

Here and there over the years I’ve posted a cover of someone else’s song and said something to the effect of, “It would be fun to make a whole covers album someday, maybe, assuming it didn’t cost a fortune to get the mechanical rights for all the songs I’d want to cover.”

Maybe I should just cover a bunch of Springsteen songs and call it a day. The boss keeps coming back at me no matter what I do.

I dug up this late night GarageBand demo I made of an acoustic version of “The Streets of Philadelphia” after pretty much forgetting about it for a year and-a-half, and I have to say I kind of like it. Record it proper-like, with microphones that aren’t invisible and built into my laptop, and who knows what might happen?

(Okay, so we all know what would happen. There’s no need to play coy. I’d get back in touch with my roots and unleash a massive BUGLE SOLO.)
