Side-projects + the short-lived & the miscellaneous

because every tonsil needs a home.

there were several projects that happened on the sidelines. unexepected and one-shot things. collaborations. one-night stands.

there were also quite a few things i recorded for other people back in the day, mostly as favours for friends (found over HERE), and generally it felt less like work and more like just relaxing and having a good time while the people who were playing the instruments did the work for me. i always found it odd that i seemed to get a more professional sound when recording someone else’s music. the drums in particular just always came through better, when i wasn’t really putting any more effort into “producing” than i normally did. maybe it was because my brain was free to concentrate on the engineering end of things specifically.
